GDHT [Game Design How To] is an annual educational competition organized by M3DS where passionate gamers and aspiring game developers meet at M3DS Academy to show us their talents and win prizes! This year is the 10th edition of GDHT and the focus is entirely on using Unreal Engine software to create a fully functional game in just 5 hours with a team of four people! This year’s theme? MINI RACING GAMES!
The best contestants will be awarded scholarships to our Academy. However, all participants will be rewarded as well! Everyone who applies to the competition will get:

We place you and your team in a
group and inform you vie email
about your exact participation date
and time. The overall competition
timeframe is June 10th - June 30th
You participate in the competition
together with your team on the
exact date and time we have
provided via email. The entire GDHT
course, introduction to Unreal
Engine and game development will last 5 hours.
Once all the groups have completed
their participation from June 10th
till June 30th, the judges will
evaluate all the entries and
determine the winners. We will
announce the winners both online
and at the final event
1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes are awarded individually, not to the whole team. So make sure you do your best and show us what you’ve got! However, every participant also gets a certificate for participation at the end of the competition.
